Marlena saying her life didn't start till she met John is kind of unhealthy behavior. I would say the thing she loved most about John was that she could take care of him since he had so many years of angst trying to figure out his identity, etc. While Don and Roman, she and them were on equal footing without the need for her to care for them or for them to care for her. -

The writing for Lucky/Liz is really erratic. Is that a ring Lucky has? Are Lucky and Liz even officially dating lol? I actually entirely forgot about Natalia. I guess the Eva La Rue experiment is over. -

Based on the dialogue today, it did seem like Brook Lynn/AS spent a lot of the episode pointing out how ridiculous the whole rewrite about Gio is

But I'm still enjoying the storyline though. Even Sonny wasn't that bad today. His scenes with Gio were necessary, I guess. However, what I did find unnecessary today was this whole Liz/Lucky thing. Just friggin reunite them already. -
KA started in 1983 both KA and DH left in 1987. KA appeared for a few months in 1990. Deidre came back in 1991 and KA returned again in 1994. Outside of Deidre's firing in 2009 and KA leaving they always were in one another's orbits. Hope was more part of the young crowd in the 80's, but they still shared stories due to Bo/Roman. I would say both characters had different periods of prominence, but overall it was very equal. I would say even someone like Ali/Sami might have Roman and Don beat out as far as episodes appearing with Marlena, but that wasn't really the original question lol
