The NY Times Pitchbot account has been quietly making NYT and Beltway reporters seethe for months or years now, but it's gotten under the skin of Semafor's Maxwell Tani too, who has never met a negative Biden gossip story he doesn't love:

Semafor truly is a rag out of its time and place, trying to chase a '00s media market that it can't ever get back. That whole tweet is a huge self-own.

@Vee Help us all. These are also many of the voices that elevated loathsome Boris Johnson, presumably. As if Washington Post and their cliquey, bitter hordes weren't bad enough.

I've been trying to cut back on my news reading for a while because it's just so numbing and depressing, but I do appreciate your updates.

I also saw that Maureen Dowd breathlessly announced that her sister believes Trump is a victim and is voting for him. Shocking.

Well, this certainly explains the Fauci dragging hit piece on WaPo. What a downfall of a once-great paper.

I am loath to highlight any Conways regardless of their political affiliation, but this is worth noting. This discussion was spurred by last week's on-air blow-up where Conway called out CNN for employing a willfully lying GOP rep, and Kasie Hunt became apoplectic at this disrupting their panel discussion by defending the right winger as one of their friendly contributors.
