I wasn't all that impressed with the recent movie adaptations, and still think that the best version I've seen is the old animated version from 1979. My only concern is that they will try to adjust the books for an older audience. These are children's books after all, and I fear that they will concentrate too much on making them a light version of Game of Thrones.
October 8, 20187 yr Member Once a fan of Narnia...ALWAYS a fan of Narnia. Super excited...though I loved the movies. But I love every production. I even heard that there's a theater troupe In Toronto I want to say that does the books in play form. Currently doing THE MAGICIAN'S NEPHEW. Next year they are doing A HORSE AND HIS BOY.

Watched it, and liked it. But I'm still waiting for the definitive version of the books. Maybe that's an impossible dream though.

So the series really does have a special place in my family...not to mention my heart. On 10/9/2018 at 12:46 PM, I Am A Swede said: So true!! Yep, yep.
