September 28, 20178 yr Member Wow. Well, he lived a long and (I assume) charmed and happy life. I don't quibble with his contribution to pop culture and the swinging sixties with his magazine. However, I do think he was a pimp, with his Playboy Mansion where the wealthy and famous could partake of the 'bunnies.' So I am stunned at some of the obituaries today talking about him being a trailblazer and liberator of some kind.

I thought that was a given. Holly Madison exposed a lot of this in her book of her life as a 'bunny.' And the fact that Hefner was always on the viagra so that he could perform every night. September 28, 20178 yr Member He was a pimp so why anyone would be celebrating his life is beyond me.
