Days got no bump from Battie story or Will's return. But the hurricanes may have slightly impacted some of the network ratings.

Will/Chandler didn't appear till the last minute of Friday's episode. I don't think the ratings will spike until he returns for real and everyone in Salem sees him alive.

The days of massive ratings spikes and increases have long been over. They need to sustain. Spikes in ratings help but the ratings fluctuate so much. To be honest, the ratings for soaps on the daily are still nothing to sneeze at. 2-4 million viewers A DAY?
