Charmian Carr, who played the eldest von Trapp daughter Liesl in the film The Sound of Music, has died aged 73.

    How sad, and it is strange to think she was singing "Sixteen Going On Seventeen" and now gone at 73.   She was so pretty and worked well in that role.   I am not familiar with anything else she acted in, but she wound up in the biggest musical of all time, so well done Charmian and RIP.

    She was gorgeous, and I'm surprised she never went on and got fame in other movie or TV roles. 

     

    The chemistry between her and 'Captain Von Trapp' was crazy and we all know why. :lol:

     

    RIP, Charmian Carr. I heard she was a classy lady in her family/private life too, and beloved by the SOM cast of children.
