I agree. It was too PC for me and I am part of the LGBT community. I think that they should've pushed the envelope with this story to get all the press they could've gotten. 

 

I would've had Rick go off the edge upon learning Maya's secret, Bill smear Maya mercilessly in Eye on Fashion, and Caroline be a prick to Maya. I've always learned that there should be hawks and doves in every story. Sadly, there were no hawks in this story. Everyone just accepted Maya with open arms.

out of the 4 left, Id give it to them. Show wasnt perfect but it at least had its moments of being must see. Cant say the same for the other pieces of crap

It wasn't even a story. It ended before it even started. It was I'm trans…..everyone accepted it….and Papa Avant didnt…and everyone moved on…story over….pure trash and garbage IMO..

Exactly. I felt like that story could've provided so many people so much material for years to come if Brad would've pushed the envelope and played all the proper beats.

I would agree Cheap but they submitted the transgender for writing…..I know some in the industry thought they wouldn't win for it….cause it wasn't that great.

 

The Guest Performer started last year I believe.  Obba should have been nominated in supporting IMO.
