Perhaps - I never got a strong gay vibe from any of those guys but really wished they were haha, especially Cody.

I don't know, I just watched the interview Clay did with Jeff (I'm trying to link it from Youtube but it's not working - BB17 Meet Clay!)... and between the voice and total flirting he's doing - and how close they are sitting - I really get strong vibes and I think Jeff is too.

Did you watch feeds last year? Because all of them gave strong gay vibes. Especially Cody.

But I don't think Jeff is gay. Jeff is a close-minded twat, that's about it. I still remember how his stupid ass tried to associate homosexuality with pedophilia, feeling that Dumbledore (of Harry Potter who JK Rowling had just revealed was gay) shouldn't be around young children.

Cody gave me vibes that he was gay. Or at least struggling to deal with it. Even Jocasta and Brittany used to question his sexuality. I remember Jocasta sitting with him one time trying to pry it out of him saying, "Do you have something you need to tell me, Cody?" :P You just knew that's what she was talking about. But his brother, Paul, is super gay. Like he has to be. A lot of the stuff he does on Twitter has my eyebrows raised.

I agree completely about Cody. And Zach. And Caleb. LOL.

I still haven't bothered to watch the videos. I'll probably do it tomorrow. For whatever reason I'm cautiously optimistic about this cast but we'll see. We really need a good solid season of BB US. It's been such a long time, IMO.

I've watched a few casting videos but I only Da'Vonne and Jason a bit. Da'Vonne was the most honest IMO. For her to sit and tell Rachel to her face that she was whiny during her seasons of playing the game was hilarious. But Rachel took the shots in stride.

Everyone else just does not appease me. Clay knows nothing about the game and it is obvious he is a recruit. If I am not mistaken, Becky expressed she wants a showmance and that's all she seems to care about. Meg immediately lost me when she went on her tangent about her love for Frankie. Audrey is a ratings grabber for CBS, and Steve is Ian 2.0.

This cast seems OK. Last time we had a solid cast was BB10. I'd say BB11 too but I always found Jeff and Jordan to be weak links in casting that season.

    • I admit...I too thought of Penny and Good Times at that ending with SilkPress.
    • Yes, just so.  Thanks for the info. I could tell this was going to be a big thing with ShawnD in this danger! Especially love that the little guy is Andrew!
    • I think the shocker would be if he's NOT playing Dumas. That's where Josh Griffith plays most of his stories. Now they have Cole "self-isolating" because they don't want to put up that hospital set. Will Cole cough himself to death at the GCAC? What a "storyline." I can't believe how much JG is playing with us regarding Nick and Sharon. The teasing has become pathetic, especially for Shick fans who want them back together. My guess is that he'll reveal his real name once he is exposed.
    • Maybe we'll meet Leslie's mama who'll be a former Articulette and they'll build the rival family from there that a lot of people seem to think is missing. It'd make sense considering Anita's been hammering on about going on tour and reviving her music career.
    • hahaha at the Brennan shade.   But even I saw this and have to agree. What's really sad is that some of the person on that list could easily have a love interest that is on the canvas. They just need to be written for.
    • The thought has crossed my mind. Tricia Mann-Grant did say in her EW interview w/ MVJ and DD, that Leslie wants to be a Dupree just as bad as she wants Eva to be. I believe now that's the direction they are going in, that maybe she is just obsessed with the family. I could be wrong though.
    • True. But I have always had mixed feelings about that twist. Since I love the Damian storyline which already had twists and turns. Also I could not wait for a new powerful AND BLACK businessman to mix it up at some point with Victor. It just seem like another twist that was added on for twist sake. And also for a character (whether I love him or not) to hijack a new and refreshing storyline so they can be propped.    Once good thing that I can say about JG is that he loves to keep the Abbotts in rotation. So I could see that happening with Diane. I don't think she has mentioned her backstory, either. I would be intrigued.
    • That's how I feel. Beats could have been played for the past couple months wherein Dante and Gio interacted and had a difference of opinion -- or something. I don't know. I do know that this crushing rant that blames everything on Gio is absurd. -- Reading over all the comments here about characters and couples, it's kind of amazing that we have any show left considering the number of times actors and writers and execs were given influence to make major character and story decisions. Too many cooks in the kitchen.
