    Yeah it is….

    Most of the people who've won the award have gone on to have very, very successful careers. There are a handful who have fallen off, and there are some who were never huge to begin with, but the majority are big names. It's a myth.

    The song is called Precious Lord (Take My Hand) and it's a Gospel song. Beyoncé's version wasn't bad. I liked that she didn't try to oversing but I was surprised that it sounded so pop, very little gospel inflection. Oddly, this seemed like a song for Jennifer Hudson to sing.

    Mahalia Jackson has the best rendition of this song EVER. No one will ever best Ms. Jackson.
