February 6, 201510 yr Member You want that primetime feel? Up the romance, the sex, strong female characters and more diversity. That's the top broadcast scripted shows. Oh and zombies. Whoops. I hope they don't go with that last part. Edited February 6, 201510 yr by titan1978
February 6, 201510 yr Member Ok, I know we always said this once JFP and now Chuck Pratt came on board, but Y&R is now officially GH..... The over the top acting and the special effects....when you think about classic Y&R it really has become a different show...... Don't even get me started on how Dylan is becoming more like Jason again everyday right down to his little shot in the promo.... other thoughts: Is that Victor performing CPR on Jack???.... Please kill Lily and Cane....and everyone else that's useless... how the F**K does Nikki end up with Phyllis? poor Jill/Jess Walton
February 6, 201510 yr Member You want that primetime feel? Up the romance, the sex, strong female characters and more diversity. That's the top broadcast scripted shows. Oh and zombies. Whoops. I hope they don't go with that last part. Y&R has had zombies for years now... This isn't what Pratt types associate with primetime. He likes to write cheap sex, but that's about it. Diversity and strong women and genuine romance are anathema to him. When he says primetime, he means lots of guns, fast pacing, lots of things going boom, and middle-aged thugs in black leather jackets.
February 6, 201510 yr Member One of his first stories is to pit Jack against Victor....for the 100000000th time! How about a story that takes Jack and Victor in totally separate directions and down the track maybe pushes them back into each others' orbit. Like Bill Bell moved Kay and Jill away from each other for a few years until there was a viable, motivated reason for them to interact again. Victor and Jack look like idiots repeating the same mistakes over and over again.
February 6, 201510 yr Member This clown is the same clown that mess up Twisted not too long go. Lily & Cane finally going to break up, I picture he's going to think Cane is more important then the Winters & Devon. Bye to all the black characters.!!!
February 6, 201510 yr Member Exactly. Move Victor and Jack into separate orbits. I'm so tired of their same go around and pissing contest. They both come off like old fools, IMO.
