I've been really pleased with Y&R. Still having difficulty adjusting to Days. And my feelings about Cartini's show are well known and do not bear repeating.

Days isn't on it's game at the moment, IMO. At all. That's probably where the difficulty adjusting to it comes from.

So GH paid through the nose for Y&R's whinnying showponies, and gets a rating drop as a result. What a shocker.

That. Or the absolute fact that I only gave it a shot for Melissa Archer. Shrug. I'm not ashamed.

I have no. Words. That's how awesome this is. The writing is just beyond gawdawful and the stunt casting is no longer doing the trick.

Glad u are loving writing that is smart and psychological. Days is a mess it's horrible to honest. It got most disappointing show has zero buzz. Especially going into its 50th they need new head writers and a new exec producer.

I don't think GH's ratings are that bad. Yes they are bad from this time last year, but this time last year Robin came home to break up Patrick's wedding. That was the biggest week GH had had in years. It is unrealistic to think they would matching that.

Lol. Jason has returned. They've hired what many consider to be a top drawer talent as a recast. You don't think that should generate a little bump? I mean Robin's return was a stunt but it always bumped the ratings. That gag is wearing thin.

Clearly Billy Miller and Jason are not the bump you think them to be, and also, while they returned there was no single event people had to see this week. Robin had been back for weeks, but this time last year was the big crescendo.

Why would anyone think Jason brings in ratings? When has he ever brought them in before? No one cares about Jason obviously, and his return doing nothing goes hand in hand with ratings rising the moment he left.

Jason isn't that popular of a character to cause a ratings bump.

I do LOL at GH's sucktastic ratings. Down down down they keep a'going

A year ago it was the big Robin reveal people had been waiting for years for. Of course it would be down.

Not that many people cared about Adam either, and I saw a lot of people who thought it was a bad idea to recast Phyllis. But well written returns and quality recasts for those characters seems to be giving Y&R a boost.

I think Jason is a popular character, but not participating in that futile argument. Just reiterating that it's all on Crapvati IMO. Robin's returns were disappointing. I think the audience doesn't trust the writer and stunt returns and stunt casting have lost the ability to impact ratings as a result.
