LOL....wanna know what I always love, even if it's a little harsh, that everyone on here is so blunt and honest about how weird he looks, compared to the annoying tumblr stans who always over hype everything..."OMG HE'S SO F**KING HOT!!!"....

Oh God, the Hoechlin stans are already annoying me so I shudder to think what will happen when this airs.  I fully expect to see manips of Superman!Hoechlin with Dylan O'brien as Louis.

The powers that be seem to be high( a little to high if you ask me) on him.  Allegedly he didn't have to audition for the role.

I usually ignore all that Stan nonsense as most of those people are probably still in school at least, but it's just hilarious how they have to gush and start getting so overly graphic about everything....this is why (not to get off topic) as much as I will kind of miss TW, I'm glad this is the last season....

Hoechlin is probably always gonna get hired based on his looks.....he apparently had a terrible audition for TW, but was still cast.......again, he's not the worst, but I just get annoyed with "oh he/she is pretty lets cast them, and they will just wing it..." and yes that's an old Bill Bell casting troupe, ( not that I believe that's always been true) but it just sucks how these days there is never proper directors to give people like Hoechlin the proper acting technique...

I honestly do believe him being in "Everybody wants Some" (which was such a WTF movie btw) with Blake Jenner is the reason they even thought of him.

He looks good when he's in solo shots, but when he's next to Mehcad Brooks he looks tiny.  It looks strange seeing a Superman who can get his assed kicked by Jimmy(or James) Olsen.  He still looks too young, no amount of saying Kryptonians age slower than human will make me say otherwise.  I'm still baffled that he was giving this role without having to audition for it, Tyler Hoechlin is not that good of an actor.

This may be the worst Superman costume ever.  The boots wrinkle, the knees wrinkle, it is made of some messed up fabric and it really would benefit from some red shorts.  He looks like he is wearing motorcycle boots and shoulder pads.   I thought he had shins of steel?

    • It really is ridiculous how happy episodes from 40 years ago make me. God, MKA is so young!
    • Holy sh.it. THAT was a damn soap opera. I’m at a loss for words for how good that was.
    • A private elevator penthouse with a spiral staircase to the primary suite.  Sign me up! The only deficit was that various riff-raffs seemed to have easy access to the elevator.

    • Same here.  Anyone who voluntarily left Margo's penthouse set (except to go overseas or to Heaven) was immediately on my blacklist.  lol.

    • The penthouse was my favorite set... and it changed hands from Margo to Draper/April to Miles/Nicole then to just Miles... before he opted to give that beautiful place for that drab house with the even more drab Beth.  That was a jump the shark moment for me LOL
    • The storyline April and Draper are involved in during the summer/autumn of 1979 seems fairly "benign" but soon turns very serious.  April has a VERY intrusive, wealthy mother (Margo Huntington Dorn).  Margo knows that April and Draper (who've recently had a miscarriage and are theoretically never going to be able to conceive another baby) want to buy a house.  Margo hoodwinks them into buying a house they can't afford.  The house is listed at $100,000 (about $400,000 in today's dollars).  Margo pays the first $35,000 and leads Draper to believe the asking price of the house is $65,000 instead of $100,000.  If Draper finds out his meddling mother-in-law paid 1/3 of the cost of the home and tricked him, he'll be mad as hell.   Meanwhile, Draper has received a job offer from a prestigious New York law firm.  Margo pulls some strings and has the senior partner in the firm rescind the offer, to keep April in Monticello.  If Draper finds out about THAT, he'll be even angrier with Margo than he will be about the house trickery.  All of that is "bubbling under the surface" in the fall of 1979 but will be the next major story, as everything begins to spiral out of control.   Yep, you've got the Karrs and their very basic middle-class house, the Victorian-themed place where Miles and Nicole live, April and Draper's old craftsman house with the exposed beams, the Madisons & their Mission revival house, and Margo with her 1970s-chic penthouse.  Each of the sets is completely different.  And their budget was like zero, lol.
    • It felt weird and out of place.  I get it. While I agree with those on here that say he's gotten better, it's still really bad. I'm not seeing the "good" acting some see...but I'll give him a B for being better than when he first started. There's potential. I'll leave it at that.
    • It's like watching paint dry at a slow-ass pace. It's bad acting. Entirely. Excellent? With Claybon? Never. Ever.
