I love those photos of Sheryl and Ray.

I'd never heard those Lucy promos either. The "whole town" one is brilliant.

Those questions were so easy. I would've cleaned up.

Love that they mentioned the secret diary.

In some heartbreaking news, Peggy Lipton has passed away. Another one lost to cancer.

This (sadly, tragically) makes Norma and Ed's long, looong road to reunion even more touching and poignant. I'm so glad we got to see that.

72? I would've never guessed. RIP.

Goddamnit.

“When we shot that scene, David had the Otis Redding song playing on the set,” said Lipton, “and when I looked over at him after he said cut, he was crying like a little baby.”

One of the heartbeats of the show. Too much tragic news on this damn day. What a gem of an actress. If not for this show, I probably never would have seen her. And it's just cool that Rashida Jones is her daughter. Love her.

I had no idea she was even ill. I loved her work as Norma - so much of the show's style and emotional underpinnings came from her work. It was criminally underrated work and so true to the noir spirit that the best of Peaks exuded.

My two favorite Norma scenes, aside from her reunion with Ed, were when she disowned her mother, and her car scene with Ed in FWWM, where you feel like you were there with them, enjoying that stolen moment.

(it's about 2 minutes and 50 seconds in)

She'd had cancer in the 2000s and beat it. I don't know who if anyone knew she was ill - much like Catherine Coulson, most fans didn't know til it was too late. I'm absolutely shattered. I adored her.

Peggy was one of the first people I met when I started on TP. I remember being completely in love and loved by both Peggy and Madchen on the first days on the pilot. She would give me advice - stuff that helps me with life and career, still, to this day. Such a cool person. The coolest. I got to meet her daughters - Rashida and Kidada when they were little kids...so sweet. They grew into beautiful people. She loved them and was super proud of both of them. We got to talk about them when we did the return- she adored them. The scenes at the RR diner will always feel like Twin Peaks to me, and Norma, so gorgeous , was always there... so....Norma, I’ll see you in my dreams...rest in peace my friend. Hope there are less tears in dreams...❤️#peggylipton
