Members alphanguy74
At age 76, leader of iconic 60's group, Paul Revere and the Raiders. One of the very few groups in history where the named leader of the group is not the lead singer. They had 16 top 40 hits between 1961 and 1972, this being their biggest: Please register in order to view this content

Members jam6242
Paul Revere and the Raiders headlined the first concert I ever attended when I was a kid. It was one of those Dick Clark Caravan shows. The Byrds and Mitch Ryder and the Detroit Wheels were on the bill too. And of course I watched "Where the Action Is" every day after school. Great memories. RIP Paul.

Members Max
It is sad that we are losing so many of the iconic rock artists. "Kicks" was a great rock and roll song, and one of the few anti-drug songs that rock produced. It is interesting that his group's biggest hit, "Indian Reservation" (which Alphanguy posted), occurred in the 70s, when the Raiders were primarily known as a 60s group. Members MissLlanviewPA
It should be noted that Paul Revere and the Raiders recorded the version of "Louie Louie" that is only slightly more understandable than the Kingsmen version : Please register in order to view this content
