My initial reaction is the same though. Networks trying to increase the latino share of the demos.

But she would just be the second... I mean Dora was the first and now her and I don't even know if/when we'll see my beloved Dora ever again. He had some good swole faces when Cookie would basically just shut him down.  I genuinely enjoyed Michael... he needs to make a comeback damnit!

Empire is my EVERYTHING; however, I am over the constant stunt casting already and season 2 ain't even here yet! 

And Becky G ain't even hot (fan wise). Her following is not enough to generate a further increase in the ratings. I'd rather see musical greats like Cher or Tina Turner. Hell, even Beyonce. And acting greats like Joan Collins, Dihann Carroll, S Epatha Merkeson, Courtney B. Vance, Angela Basset, etc.

If, in your own words, she "is not enough to generate a further increase in the ratings," then can you really call that stunt casting? All of the people you said you'd rather see would be the definition of stunt casting lol

I'm not sweating all the stunt casting. I suspect most of these people will show up for less than 60 seconds. Just long enough for Cookie or Lucious or Jamal to mention their name. (Cookie: "I can't talk to you now I'm at Rita Ora's rehearsal!" Rita swoops in, give Cookie a hug and an air kiss and walks to the the stage to "rehearse" a verse or two of her latest song. Commercial.)

I think only a couple of these people are real guest stars, like Cuba or Raven.

I'd just rather the show focus fully on the characters next season. All these cameos and stunt casting can take away from the characters IMO. However, if they are going to bring on stars, bring on people with talent and pull in the industry. Not Becky G. 

I heard Mariah Carey is coming on too. I don't mind a Mariah or Lil Kim because we seen a picture of Mariah on the show already. & Taraji already said her character is like Lil Kim.

I wish folks would stop giving Mariah acting jobs but I have to admit that whenever she's given good performances, it's been in Lee Daniels' projects. He's pretty much Joss Whedon to her Summer Glau.
