Members quartermainefan
Her newest song, I guess targeted at dance floors. I can't see this climbing the charts but hats off she is still plugging away with new material
Members SFK
Can't say that I love it, but I love this woman and I support any and everything that she does. I live for her. I'm so impressed by how forward and full her voice remains to be. I wish that she and Cleo Laine would churn out a dubstep dance mix duo.
Members alphanguy74
You never know... the UK is far more receptive to older artists coming out with new material. I'm glad she's doing something. That being said, I don't like the song at all.
Members DaytimeFan
I love the song for what it is, Euro trash dance music, perfect for the South of France and Benidorm and the beaches of Greece and Italy...I just don't understand why it was released now, surely it's a better summer song! Members SFK
Spot on, sweaty, smoky, boozy Eurotrash dance music perfect for a summer release. My cousin has a pied a terre in Nice, and not that I've ever been INVITED, but I'd get a chuckle out of experiencing that scene. You always get at least one group of that type on a cruise. Members quartermainefan
Bassey singing "I'm Still Here" is a perfect fit and her voice can easily cover the big notes. I am curious to see how she handles the hammy, more emotive parts. "Diamonds Are A Girl's Best Friend" is a fun tune but it sounds like she slowed it down to better showcase her voice. This is the track list apparently. This Is What You Are Englishman In New York Fever I’m Still Here Macarthur Park Wild Is The Wind Goldfinger Diamonds Are A Girl’s Best Friend (duet with Paloma Faith) Here’s To Life It Was A Very Good Year Hello Like Before We Got Music (deluxe bonus track) Hey Jude (deluxe bonus track)
Members DramatistDreamer
I'm thinking this song may have life as part of a commercial or some promo ad. Having said that, I still adore Dame Shirley Bassey!
