DOOL: Renewed through 2016

Amazing news. The only show on the air I still have a connection with. I never got into GH, and Y&R and B&B both died years ago for me. DAYS is the little show that could and I never would have expected this. Then again, I never expected their last two renewals either. They always seem to get their [!@#$%^&*] together JUST IN TIME for a renewal.

MarkH's infamous chart has now been proven wrong for the first time I believe. Anyone still have that chart BTW? It was astonishing how accurate it was for a while.

DAYS really is the little engine that could. Right when it looks like it's down for the count it is saved at the 11th hour. Hiring Eileen Davidson and getting the writing together made all the difference.

Although unlikely, it would be really cool if they promoted the hell out of Sami's exit and did a primetime special during the climax, a la One Stormy Night / Night Sins / Winter Heat. It's not like half of anything on NBC primetime would fare any better, ratings-wise.
