I don't watch the show but if I did I would be annoyed at the series finale spending time on this nonsense.

I'm tired of spinoffs that are not actually spinoffs.

Same. It's the reason why I skipped the final episode of "Quincy, M.E." on Netflix. Instead of an actual series finale, they used that time for a backdoor pilot centered on Quincy's wife and the new clinic she'd be working at -- that is, if NBC had picked up the series, which they didn't.

If they are going to do this they should do it with someone the audience already knows like Victoria or something.

I read the pilot's been green-lighted, but it won't be back-doored in one of HIMYM's episodes.

I don't mind it---I just don't think it's got a prayer in the world.

CBS like all the big four are desperate for a new comedy hit. Last few years, everything has been bombing like crazy.
