I don't think the writers truly know what to do with Jack when not in Todd's sphere. They need to give him a solid persona.

I know.. they need to give him some friends, if he's still in HS and graduating, but I do think he will get some story soon (presumably the "Notes on a Scandal" s/l) since he Instagrammed a stack of scripts..

If this show was an hour long, they should introduce some friends of his (the J-Team, perhaps?) and build a storyline around that. He's 18 (or thereabouts). He needs some guy friends.

This one was a bore for me. The last two weeks were. The show needs to pick up the pace. The previews at least looked promising

OK, this show seems like total filler so far...but I like the slight exploration of the couples of Rama/Vimal (I think Rama is coming to terms with the reality of her open relationship) and David/Dorian.

Yeah, it was basically a filler show, but for me this was the best episode I've seen so far. It really shows what a difference the scriptwriter can make between the awful dialogue on Tuesday and the truly funny dialogue today. I especially enjoyed the Bo/Nora, Dorian/David and Rama/Vimal scenes.

Agreed. Admittedly I wasn't watching much at the end of the ABC run, but I do remember Jack being an angry bully. This kid helping David on the computer doesn't seem like the same character.
