And then, I recall Jesse remarking, "Yeah, ain't that triflin'?" I laughed, thinking, That is EXACTLY how you'd expect someone like Jesse Hubbard to respond.

Oh lord that reminds me of B&B whenever they attempt to write Marcus' dialogue as sounding "black". Its just embarassing and you can tell they try too hard as it doesnt feel natural at all. It doesnt help that the actor is like mid 30s playing early 20s, so the attempt at being young and hip falls even flatter.

lol, B&B has more black characters than most of the soaps. There's 5 and several recurring. They don't get utilized as much as their white counterparts but they exist
