Oh I really hope they don't do that. That would personally be a disaster for me.

All I've ever read is M-T with special Friday recap/interview episode.

Yeah, I can't imagine them releasing all four episodes plus the recap at one time. They upload new episodes every day of various primetime material from the previous nights, so I'm sure they'll just lump the new episodes of AMC and OLTL in with them.

And yall...I just get these random fits of excitement about this. I just had one. They're like hot flashes.

I know some have already done some speculation about a theme song and opening sequence, but as long as they keep our mighty photo album, I'm good with whatever they do. Since this thing is gonna be online via Hulu and iTunes, the logo/title card is going to be a major part of its identity, so I hope they do it justice.

Thanks for your insight.

And, I think I know exactly how you feel! wub.png e5000810.gif

Link to Thorsten Kaye interview with Carolyn Hinsey: http://carolynhinsey.nycbrandproductions.com/

Spoilers; He's joking a lot so it's hard to separate humor from fact but it does appear:

- He's in the first AMC 2.0 scene with Peter due to Jill (Opal) not being ready for the scene on time. It's a phone call.

- Zach and Kendall are no longer together. Someone says "I'm sorry about you and Kendall" and I guess they'll unravel what happened as the show proceeds along.

Interesting.

ENDall.

I was kind of hoping for it. I feel the pairing and the individual characters needed it for the reboot to reboot to better formations of themselves.

Kendall better come back fierce/bitchy and not groveling. I am hoping the divorce or separation is further along than "I'm sorry about..." makes it appear [if he wasn't joking which I don't think he was].

They wouldn't do that us. Would they? Think positive! It would be the same old crap.

Despite K&S doing the interviews, I'm pretty sure Lorraine Broderick wrote the scenes with Zach and Kendall obviously headed for divorce before Kendall's full-time return in 2010. The scenes airing tonight or tomorrow on Soapnet, probably. Despite a slow start, Kendall did ultimately get to say she was sick of Zach punishing her and that she refused to be his prisoner anymore, more or less, in their last scenes on the boat. Zach then pretty much admitted the problem was his insecurities in a few words. And Lorraine and Agnes have a similar mind-set.

Great interview with Thorsten Kaye. Besides the spoilers, seeing his thoughts on Prospect Park's support (the owners of the company came out to thank the actors after a great scene) and about the stars who are there now vs those who aren't, is fascinating. He's being positive, but there's also a bit of competitiveness that seems to come out when he says it's going to be hard for those who come back later and weren't part of this from the beginning to fit in.

It's great he likes the cast and likes Prospect Park. All the actors seem really happy with the company so far, and no one's forcing them to go above and beyond in their praise like that. Encouraging sign that PP is behind these soaps and the soaps will be around for years to come if PP has anything to say about it.

I found his comment a little less straight-forward than Debbi's on Twitter on other actors coming back or not. Instead of saying something like "watch us and there will be a lot of time for your favorites to return" she says something closer to the nature of "this is the perfect cast size for balanced story-telling for a 30-minute show, anymore cast would jeopardize that." I'm paraphrasing of course.

Hmm, I took his comment to be more about the later returnees finding it hard to fit in to the company of actors and crew who have bonded through the experience of birthing the new era of the show -- and less so about not being able to give them story. But it's open to interpretation. I thought Debbi did mention that there would be a chance for other favorites to return later in one of her other tweets.
