I love Liz. I love Becky [Herbst]. She’s fantastic. But something needs to be built. I think that character’s been bounced around. She’s got three different children from three different men. If she’s going to say, “I love you” to somebody, it’s got to be real and it’s got to mean something

That's a very odd rationale, as Carly has three kids from three different men and she was thrown into a romance with Todd as soon as Valentini took over the show.

I think he's right, though. Liz needed a break.

I still hope the man is A.J. and he was fibbing - "A.Q." being his actual initials.

The fans want Patrick and Liz? as I recall every time Liz has talked to Patrick since Robin's death many flame wars were started by anti-Liz people claming that she is trying to seduce Patrick or something.

That's the understatement of the century, Frank. If your colleague can undo the wreckage that showkiller Guza heaped on her and resurrect the Liz that I loved (1997-2003) before the curtain falls, I will consider it nothing short of a miracle.
