The PC promo I remember playing all the time was Time in a Bottle featuring that same song. I guess for a while ABC was still willing to pay song rights for fairly well known material...

Let's see you shirtless Eric.tongue.png I dare you...and you know where you can post that pic...wink.png

You've already seen far more of me than I have of you... (Using a pic of some tennis player for your FB, sheesh) :P

Todd did go to prison for the gang rape, though, and didn't get worshipped by the town the way Jason was for years. Has Jason ever

been sent to prison at all (I'm genuinely asking, since I have no idea, no snark whatsoever)

I don't want to start anything, though. Fan wars hurt sometimes, and agreeing to disagree with my friends here is SO much easier

for me smile.png .

He was in prison for a few months, about the amount of time Jason was when he tried and failed to protect Michael.

Yeah, back then they were still willing to shell out the big bucks for that stuff. The first PC arc, "Fate", used 10cc's "I'm Not in Love" for its promos. Hell, when Gabrielle came back to OLTL in 2001, they played her song with Max (Michael Bolton's "That's What

Love is All About"), and Engima's "Gravity of Love" during T&B's first love scene in seven years.

I knew it wasn't long, I just meant that he was rightly called out for sh!t and punished for things (early on, at least--some would argue being held captive for 8 years also counts--especially given that that was his original sentence for the gang rape) in a way that isn't comparable to any punishment Jason has probably had (unless he was and I missed it--and I'm serious, I have no idea).

Reminds me of the good old days of the last few months of the AMC Daily threads... when I'd step away from the board, come back to find the thread at 13 pages... and realize 10 of the pages were about Jacob Young's ass.

Flashforward to 2013 in the GH thread and it's an entire page about Sean Kanan's shiny red nipples.

I can't really compare Jason, as much as I disliked the character, to a man who raped or tried to rape almost a half-dozen women. But I don't want to derail the thread so I'll respectfully stop my yammering.

I didn't watch AMC, so--yay on the first part? Maybe? If only because I missed that? laugh.png

The idea that Todd (or Frodd, for that matter) has been revered to the extent that the roided goiter has been (at the expense of this show) is laughable.

I combusted with happiness!

Is Dr. Collins arriving in town tomorrow? Or do I have the date wrong?
