WTF!!!!!

EXCLUSIVE: Here is a great holiday gift for soap fans: I’ve learned that Prospect Park has revived its plan to continue cancelled ABC daytime dramas All My Children and One Life To Live online. I hear the company behind USA hit Royal Pains has inked deals with SAG-AFTRA and DGA for the soaps’ production, eyed to begin in the first quarter of 2013.

I disagree with this. Todd was successfully recast and Easton does nothing for me. I would welcome a new face for John.

Yeah Todd was recast successfully ONCE. I seriously doubt that lightning will strike twice, And John is a disposable character. Again, he is not that important to One Life. For every John there is a Rafe or Ed Hall. These three are not viable to One Life. They can occassionally drop in, but they aren't needed for the long haul if the actors don't want to join the reboot, yet want to remain on GH. Recasting will only screw up continuity on both show, and further make soaps worse than they already are.

PP screwed this up when they agreed to this early on. The characters have caught on with the GH audience and OLTL audience. They should've said "no" knowing they were planning to do the reboots eventually.

And to answer your statement earlier, you threw the first rock. Seeing as you prefer to name call, I decided join in but throw a brick instead.

DISNEY, ABC GH , KA ME & RH knew the OLTL characters were on LOAN to GH. Id say ABC is the one holding this up. They dont want KA & ME going to OLTL even briefly so they are holding up PP's talks with them. ABC would rather create two new roles for them that would most likely fail than compromise with PP to share. Im glad for once DISNEY stepped in & said make this work.

ABC can always just terminate the contracts and not have to worry about paying them

As for the second part, I doubt Heather is dead and Alison can always be brought back. That leaves a minor cop on the hitlist. Not that it matters as others have had higher body counts and remained for quite some time.

And John is a disposable character. .

Then GH shouldn't have any problem creating a new character for Easton. One that isn't so disposable and doesn't exist only for Sam.

Yes ABC has to pay them per their contract. ABC was just planning to create new characters for KA & ME. However, Disney has stepped in and said no. We want AMC & OLTL to succeed so figure out a way for Starr, Todd & John to appear on both GH & OLTL.

An agreement has been reached with RH regarding doing Todd on both shows since his one year deal at ABC ended. RH will go back and tape a month for OLTL. Hopefully the same can deal can be reached with KA & ME

Loan, smoan. The characters popped on GH, and if the actors don't want to fully vacate GH for OLTL then so be it. If they desperately want to have the characters back and recast, so be it. However, I can predict that it won't end well for either ABC or PP.

AMC films starting Feb 25th. OLTL starts filming March 11th
