EXCLUSIVE: Here is a great holiday gift for soap fans: I’ve learned that Prospect Park has revived its plan to continue cancelled ABC daytime dramas All My Children and One Life To Live online. I hear the company behind USA hit Royal Pains has inked deals with SAG-AFTRA and DGA for the soaps’ production, eyed to begin in the first quarter of 2013.

Alex was an incredibly fun character in the '90s, but like so many others, she just became more and more of a one note joke when brought back. I wonder if SBH has any clue of what's become of so many characters of her time on the show.

Oddly enough, he did not annoy me nearly as much as so many "normal" characters on the show whose portrayers tried to make them interesting and quirky.

I actually liked the porn story. It was a first for daytime and hot. I always believed that the porn industry could do a soap and still include the nudity, but tastefully. Now I'm not talking daytime daily serial. Just a soap opera.

Will someone compile a cast list of all the characters who were on AMC and OLTL at their network ends? Might be nice to keep a running tally of who's on and who isn't, a post that can be copied/pasted/updated/bumped.

The Ford who bugged me the most has gone to heaven. He was the worst offender of the three. The other two I don't mind, but James pretty much got his walking papers from Starr who probably won't be back, so I wonder if they'd bother with him. I'm wondering if Dani will in effect take Starr's place.
