Ha that's what I imagine too. I love that he claims she would circle a word on page 2 and then one on page 32 that was the same and say "too repetitive!!" (Hrmm a part of me likes the idea of school marm Aggie...)

Well said, and I agree 100% (no big surprise). It seems like, at the moment, PP knows they need all the help and support from people like her they can get--after a few months (if...) that could all change.

I'm a bit of a blur--was that Adrianna's bachelorette party for her wedding to Rex or someone else? Ugh I should know something that recently better. I know he got sloshed and went over after being told not to.

Didn't the show a few years earlier have the guys of Llanview strip for another bachelorette party?

Yeah I saw the light sometime by the time I was 18 ;)

Exactly--and frankly, while I think soaps are often still too conservative or old fashioned, it seemed the wrong kinda humour for a soap opera anyway (I guess I could imagine JER using it on Passions...) The idea of titles for episodes makes some sense--but when you have 200+ titles a year it just seemed a waste of even the thirty or so seconds they prob spent thinking up a title. (it used to always fascinate me as a kid that nearly all primetime shows use titles for their episodes even though it's very rare--especially nowadays--to show them on screen).

He's no Brody... But yeah, that's fine. I think a lot of straight guys are more comfortable talking that way (at least in my circle of aquantances and friends--but that circle probably isn't really representational...) I admit, though, it has made me plenty confused with certain guys whose sequality I've wondered about, when you go out drinking with them and they agree with you or some girl that someone is hot.

I agree with some of your take, at least the Irna stuff. Did she really say that about a husband though? (Two or so years ago they said they discovered a manuscript she wrote for her memoirs--I wish they'd publish it). However, while the P^G honchos tended to be male, Irna did work with a LOT of women (Lucy Ferri Rittenberg was EP at Guiding Light from the start of the TV run through Nixon's 8 years as HW, and then 7 years after that, for example, Mary Harris was EP at ATWT for the majority of the 60s).

About Agnes though, I think her father saying she shouldn't and couldn't be a writer led to her ultimately being more ambitious--that's what I get from what she says about it in All Her Children.
