Maybe there's a special rule about not nominating black actors who had a storyline?

I look forward to next year when GH can win for Kristina's 'don't-mess-with-me' day player friend, Tangerine.

They'll probably win for Kristina. She's basically a dayplayer herself along with about 75% of the cast.

Please tell me you're making that up.

It shocks me that Renee Jones didn't land a nomination (and f*ck it, a win) for Lexie's death. She was heartbreaking.

I know. I hope she just didn't want her name in.

Honestly, I wonder how these people are even getting nominations. Is their representation submitting them, knowing they have a fighting chance given the wack selection process? It's really absurd. How would the selection committee even know about these actors who make like three appearances a year.

I think all these awards need to scrap the soap categories. I'm embarrassed for the Young Artist Awards as well as they also nominate dayplayers. Like kids who were on for flashback scenes.

LMAO, I can't deal with this crap...

Scrap the category and give lifetime achievement awards to:

Ellen Holly

Al Freeman, Jr. (posthumously)

Debbie Morgan & Darnell Williams (even though he's already won one)

James Reynolds

Victoria Rowell & Kristoff St. John

Instead of giving an acceptance speech, she should just show a video of herself and her friends at home laughing at how completely ridiculous the whole thing is.

She always win for her amazing performances as Devon's dayplayer girlfriend. She had like one love scene last year but the majority of the time was just standing around with barely any lines.

Tatyana Ali is probably using those Image Awards as doorstops.

But on a positive note, it's probably a great opportunity to fraternize with colleagues and industry types. And a free meal. And a chance to wear a nice dress.
