Uhm, they definitely were not "keeping the character the same age" Abby was like 15 under the last actress.

When MR first came on Abby was still under 21 so I think that's keeping around the same age. Then they started aging Abby but it still was only to early 20s.

I think Abby is probably a year or two younger than Devon and Lily at this point.

Abby coming back doesn't bother me. Hell if they can keep lifeless, pointless Eden around then its okay for Abby to be around too imo. MR does look too old but at this point I dunno how old Abby is suppose to be and same goes for Noah and Kyle. Those actors look too old as well.

Why?? With Ashley not on the canvas any longer, I don't see much of a need for Abby??? Other than working Abby somehow into the Newman fold, unless they plan on bringing Brenda Epperson in as Ashley I don't see much of a need for Marcy Rylan or Abby on the show, even if she is just recurring.

I have a feeling since they decided to keep Carmine on(practically treating him like a newcomer to the show), they're going to create something around him and Abby.

I didn't particularly miss Abby, but had a feeling she'd eventually be brought back at some point(possibly as a recast). I assume being both an Abbott and a Newman gives her a little more leeway.
