Members MrQuartermaine
I taught Huck Finn to high schoolers for 40 years, so believe me when I say at least 100 jokes come to mind.
Members Khan
And yet, that's a far more positive representation of Black men than anything soaps have come up with in eighty years of existence.
Members MrQuartermaine
I think the Wards were fairly portrayed as an African American family on GH.

Members VirginiaHamilton
The first and last decent one that existed on this show.
Members Khan
Perhaps. Personally, I found Rosalind Cash's Mary Mae and Joseph C. Phillips' Justus at times to be a bit too ideal, for lack of a better word. #newcanwormsopen
Members marceline
Your lack of gratitude is awful. You and I are the reason there aren't more black or gay (or Asian or Jewish or ...) characters on soaps. Because we aren't ever pleased with the ones we get. (Except, of course, when we are and that actor/character is still treated like throwaway trash. Where is Maya these days anyway?)

Members VirginiaHamilton
Must be why showkiller Guza felt compelled to transform Justus from an upstanding lawyer to the roided goiter's lackey, while he sent the beautiful and intelligent Keesha away to take care of her sick aunt in Philly. Members chicklitsandfantasies
He is Latino! His mother(the parent who raised him) was Cuban and he used to tell all these stories about their family traditions which made me think he was raised Hispanic but over the years on the boards I've seen that' it's okay for him to act Italian because the people in his neighborhood were Italian. Members Khan
I'm done with attempting to uncover Sonny's ethnicity. AFAIC, he's Norwegian, and that's that.
