Bo doesn't exit the show until October.

This is the 4th time Jack has "died" right?

Oh ok, thanks

Are Carrie and Austin dying too or did they leave already?

Having a promo of Sami, Nicole and Daniel in peril possibly about to die and a few seconds later revealing them to all be alive was stupid. They even confirmed Nicole doesn't have a miscarriage!

the point wasnt about those cliffhangers, because a lapsed viewer prob doesnt really care. the reveals really made the promo interesting. and i dont think anyone thought for a second any of them might die.

How would a lapsed viewer know that? Jack is shown in the same predicament and we know he's "dying" The promo is supposed to give off the illusion that the town is in peril and anyone is in danger. They completyely underhand themselves by highlighting specific people as possibly dead/seriously injured only to have them perfectly fine. They dont even seem to have a scratch or a cast or something. It completely takes away from even showing so much of the Daysaster in the first half of the promo. They were better off leaving that to a minimal and highlighting what happens afterwards

I think the point of the promo is to entice people to watch the show in general. To get peoples attention. The typical who will die cliffhanger promo doesnt have that impact with many people because it always comes off as if you have had to watch the previous epsiodes, but with this the danger & cliffhangers are only presented to show something exciting. Its the aftermath of those events thats truly interesting and really when the promo got good.

Id agree it was too much if I thought the point of the promo was a WHO WILL DIE, but it isnt. And the actual disaster was used because its bar far the most exiting a promo worthy thing the show has done in well over a year. Its like when a show has a promo highlights the best parts of it and previewing whats coming up.

This promo certainly leaves no surprises does it? Sonny kisses Will and Will seems flabbergasted.

maybe new writers will say he's not gay after all

Wilson fans would have a cow, or worse, if this happened. However, the show just doesn't seem to want to get rid of Gabi when technically, they should've done so when Will was first pulled from the closet. Did they keep her on the show just in case they wanted to backtrack? Hmmm...............

That voiceover "artiste" needs to be moved to a "desk job" after giving such lacklustre delivery to a promo like that! Couldn't they hire a wannabe-Clarence to do this thing justice?

I am still stunned at the lame way they have Jack squeaking "I wuv you" before the elevator door closes on him.

WTF? Dr.McHairychest doesn't die?! I thought that was the whole point of Daysaster! To get rid of the useless characters!
