Marty and McHale's Navy are the two movies of his that I enjoyed the most.

Rest in Peace, Ernest.

A very solid actor who had a career longer than many lifetimes. There's a cheesy little Christmas movie some of my family like to watch every year where he has to raise his granddaughter while Tracy Nelson is in the hospital.

Aww what a shame, he seemed like a helluva lot of fun. 95 is a wonderful age. I hope his family takes comfort in that. RIP Ernest.

Aww, everyone loved Ernest Borgnine I think. He was the ugliest superstar maybe ever, but he always made movies better.

His performance in The Poseidon Adventure was just awesome in every way. One of the greatest character actors ever.
