January 31, 200620 yr Member So I'm guessing this is basically like WORST everything. Cool. Razzie also has a kick to it. Wonder what it stands for and how they got the name
January 31, 200620 yr Member I don't think WIll Ferrell belongs in there. Doom should be in there for worst movie...God that sucked.
January 31, 200620 yr Member So I'm guessing this is basically like WORST everything. Cool. Razzie also has a kick to it. Wonder what it stands for and how they got the name The Razzie is short for Raspberries, and it's that sound you make when you know something's crap... It's hard to describe. Like when you stick your tongue out and blow and that annoying sound comes out.
February 1, 200620 yr Member "*Tom Cruise : War of the Worlds" BWAHAHAHAHAHAHAHA!!! An appropriate nomination to be sure.

February 1, 200620 yr Member I hate Hayden Christensen being nominated for Star Wars III, he did a good job considering George Luca's dialogue always is flat and boring.
February 1, 200620 yr Author Member Halle Berry was a great sport in 2004 when she won a Razzie for Worst Actress in Catwoman. The crowd cheered her on as she gave a stirring re-creation of her Academy Award acceptance speech, including tears and screaming. ''Omigosh, oh my God, 'I never in my life thought that I would be here, winning a Razzie. It's not like I ever aspired to be here, but thank you... I'd like to thank everyone involved in Catwoman, a film that took me from the top of my profession to the bottom. I also want to thank Warner Brothers for casting me in this piece of [!@#$%^&*]," she said as she dragged her agent on stage and warned him "next time read the script first." Then she wen to to talk about her mother teaching her that "to be a good winner you had to be a good loser first."

Then she wen to to talk about her mother teaching her that "to be a good winner you had to be a good loser first." That is great. I am not very big on Halle (sometimes her attitude bugs me) but she was a good sport doing this. Catwoman was god-awful. I was really hyped for it too-I only wish they had gone with original story rather then changing her name to Patience and all that other crap. The cast and acting wasn't bad it was just the wrong way to do this type of movie. I hate Hayden Christensen being nominated for Star Wars III, he did a good job considering George Luca's dialogue always is flat and boring. Yeah he was much better in the third film. He plays darker characters better IMO. Lucas's dialogue is horrible though so I think the actors deserve to be cut some slack.
February 3, 200620 yr Member I find these awards to be so cheesy!! I dont know why they even air them.
February 3, 200620 yr Author Member I find these awards to be so cheesy!! I dont know why they even air them. They don't air them Claude. They are presented at a luncheon. Halle Berry just came to their luncheon to accept her award. lol
