Lets talk the syndicated late nite soap that aired 65 episodes in Summer 1994 & starred soap stars: Sharon Case, Lisa Howard, Warren Burton, Kamar De Los Reyes, John O'Hurley & Kevin Spiritas. Film star Sally Kirkland was Helen Lawson.

Two more episodes.

I'm not sure what order these three go in.

Thanks. When I was a teenager, this was one of my favorite novels. I can't imagine trying to read it now with a 30-year-old perspective, as I would probably be shocked at how I ever enjoyed it... but 17 years ago, it was a guilty pleasure that I would share with my friends at school. I had no idea there was a soap opera... I only knew about the movie.

I have never read the book. I did see the movie, which is a high camp mess. I imagine the book is better. I'd heard of the show in some soap book that came out in the '90s or early '00s but I'd never seen it until I saw some scraps on Dailymotion and Youtube. Until now it's all been bad dubbed versions.

The book was also high camp mess, but my teen brain was watching sitcoms and Buffy back then... So I had nothing else to compare it to. I would check out more of the soap version if it was available.

I had seen the edited version on TV before reading the novel. That mobile with the obvious finger prints...

Then one summer, planting my own trees, with no TV I read VOTD, Helter Skelter, and Peyton Place. 1975 I think..

Much more entertaining than the movie.
