He brainwashed someone (John? Marlena?) into shooting him (with fake bullets, of course) in order to frame someone else (EJ? Kate?).

Oh joy another long week. It would have been much better if EJ finally got killed instead of the guy that's died so many times and will probably come back.

Eh, not quite EJ has gotten shot at least twice already by two Brady's once by Will and another time by Sami - I don't think we really need to see that story again. Especially since it's known that the DiMera's never truly die. I do think it's quite humorous that all of these fake deaths keep happening though. It was just two weeks or so ago that Marlena, Hope, Bo, John, Rafe, Carrie and others were "dead" in order to trick Stefano. It wouldn't surprise me if Stefano is doing this just to get back at them. It's a who can out Funeral whom contest.
