PARTNERS is a comedy based on the lives of creators David Kohan and Max Mutchnick, about two life-long best friends and business partners whose “bromance” is tested when one of them is engaged to be married. Joe (David Krumholtz) is an accomplished architect who leads with his head and not his heart, especially in his love life. That’s in stark contrast to his gay co-worker, Louis (Michael Urie), who is spontaneous, emotional and prone to exaggeration. Both have found joy in their love lives: Joe is newly engaged to Ali (Sophia Bush), a beautiful and sophisticated jewelry designer, while Louis is dating Wyatt (Brandon Routh), a vegan nurse who Louis insists is just a promotion away from becoming a doctor. As news of Joe’s engagement settles, time will tell if their business and personal bond can adapt to the addition of two other important relationships. Emmy Award winners David Kohan and Max Mutchnick are executive producers for Warner Bros. Television. Emmy Award winner James Burrows directed the pilot.

I don't find this funny at all, but then again, I don't find any of the current popular comedies funny. Besides I can't stand Brandon Routh or David Krumholtz. I like Michael Urie and Sophia Bush though.

Zero chemistry between the two leads. Isn't that kind of the point of the show?

Urie is overdoing it.

I think this will be one of those CBS sitcoms they keep on for a season and then never mention again.

So the pilot was very mediocre. Michael Urie is the funniest of the bunch and definitely helped to make what wasn't that great of a pilot into something watchable. I really hope it improves because I loved WIll and Grace and I like the cast enough to keep watching. (plus I already watch most of CBS's Monday lineup, so might as well just keep the channel on)

This is Will and Grace 2.0. Partners doesnt come close to the original. It wasnt even funny. Both lead actors sucked ...and Brandon Routh ex OLTL fame sucked as well. I was looking forward to this show and was so disappointed.

The show did dreadful in the ratings..manging only a 4.1 rating....I dont see this show lasting a few more episodes. The whole CBS lineup was way down.

Usually even the worst CBS comedies get well sampled on their debut, but I think Partners got the worst debut for a CBS comedy ever. CBS pulled How to be a Gentleman after 2 episodes and that got slightly better ratings. CBS will pull this after next week. The whole damn lineup cratered, but I'll wait till Toups posts ratings to post full thoughts.

Yeah I am shocked at how bad CBS did last night..although look what they have now on Mondays....Partners....2 Broke Girls which is not a very good show.....leading off Mike and Molly which I like and Hawaii Five O.

ABC didnt do to great with Dancin either..they drop a lot from last season...and NBC seems to be the winner although there new hit drop in ratings..but held up well in demos.
