GH: Jack Wagner on Anderson

So I was compelled to watch Anderson today, which is tough because I did not find prior shows I tuned in for any good... even the one with my idol Ms. Dolly Parton.

Getting back to the point, they had Jack Wagner on today and he talked about his reunion with his daughter who was conceived while he was very much with for Mrs. Jack Wagner, Kristina Crump (ex- Felicia).

Firstly, the story of their reunion was amazing. The emotions he showed were so heartfelt. The man was so vulnerable on television talking about the shame and now happiness he feels getting this second chance to be a part of his daughter's life.

But secondly, have a hard time feeling for a man who can not seem to be faithful to his wife, nor a man who cannot be a good father... two things I think all human males are naturally engrained with a disposition for. I understand that the birth mother gave this daughter. So In 1989 he is informed by his one night stand that she gave up his daughter and there was nothing he could do about it. Then in 1990, Kristina gives him a son and he abandons him too to live out a romance with his new co-stars at Santa Barbara. I am so happy that h he has a relationship with both now, but how many chance can a man get to be not only a good father, but a good person?

Did he talk about the battery allegations between him and Heather cuz TMZ had those crazy reports about them fighting and she tried to steal his dog, and he put his hands on her to try and get the dog back.

Freaking news interruption! I was waiting to see if they were going to talk about Heather.

Thta's what I want to hear about. The two of them sound crazy.

Sounds like Anderson is basically Jerry Springer for celebrities. I will never understand how people can put their their private lives and dirty laundry out in public.

I am confident that monogamy and the roles of fathers are learned and culturally determined.

The show is nothing like Jerry Springer. at least not from the epis I've sat through. They talk about popular topics with a bunch of different people not just celebrities.

Jack did not touch on anything outside of DWTS or the adoption of his daughter. He did not touch on Heather or Kristina, or really much about how Kerry affected his sons. I would have tried to have Harrison and Pete on to paint a bigger picture of this newly blended family.

Here is an article I found about JW and how he left Harrison and Kristina, less than a year after Kerry's birth:

Pals blame his womanizing

THE rocky seven-year marriage between Melrose Place hunk Jack Wagner and his wife Kristina came to a crashing end when she slapped her hubby with divorce papers.

And the only thing that has shocked pals is that Kristina put up with his roving eye for as long as she did.

The split is no surprise to those who know Jack. He simply can't keep his eyes on his wife. "It's as if he has a sexual compulsion and will never change."

Wagner met his wife when they starred together as General Hospital super-couple Frisco and Felicia, but didn't become involved until Kristina's marriage to Robert Malandro fell apart in the late '80s.

Even as the duo became romantically entwined, insiders say Wagner, 41, shamelessly chased other women.

In the notorious book You'll Never Make Love in this Town Again, former Hollywood party girl Liza Greer writes about a torrid sexual encounter with Jack while he was dating Kristina.

Despite the book's allegations, the couple stayed together and in 1990, Kristina gave birth to their son Peter. Six months later, Jack left the ABC soap — and his wife and child, moving out of their Bel Air home, sources say.

"I was alone," Kristina recently recalled. "It was me and baby Petey."

The pretty actress was so heartbroken, she took a six-month medical leave of absence from her ABC daytime drama.

Meanwhile, ladies man Jack worked on the soap Santa Barbara and was linked to two co-stars, Nina Arvesen and Paula Irvine.

Despite his gallivanting, he and Kristina reconciled. They tied the knot in Lake Tahoe in 1993 and a year later, a second son, Harrison, was born.

He developed another passion that teed Kristina off — golf!

"He travels all over the country to take part in tournaments, leaving his family behind," says another source.

Finally, citing irreconcilable differences, Kristina filed for divorce in Los Angeles Superior Court, insiders reveal.

"Kristina," say the source, "has simply had enough!"

I agree with this assertion. He seems to have level-set this from his first episode, airing the dirty laundry of his wonderful mother, Gloria Vanderbilt's, love life for all of national tv to hear.

It's funny how his parenting has reflected Frisco's. Or maybe it's the other way around.

Darn, you are so right about this. I did not even think about the parallels. While Felicia was struggling with the reality of being a single mom to Maxie, Kristina was going through the same abandonment in real life with her own son Harrison. No wonder Kristina needed to take the time away from GH for a mental break. I do not know how I could get out of bed with those types of lemons in my life.

It makes watching these 1995 GH scenes very sad. In them, Frisco is trying hard to show Felicia that he can be a father to his two little girls. The whole situation is close to the reality that was the Wagner marriage. It's almost cruel to out Kristina through it:
