Y&R is just as bad with getting a new cast photo done, than they are at updating their opening, which just celebrated it 9th birthday on Friday.

This is actually my biggest gripe with the current regime. MAB has been there four years and hasn't added any new/returned cast members (apart from re-inserting old shots of Kristoff, Judith, Bryton and Eileen). You'd think she would have at least added her pets (Billy, Marcy, Michael Muhney, Stephen, Christel, Daniel Goddard) by now. If B&B can introduce a kick-ass new opening and update it every 6 months or so, there's no excuse for Y&R not touching theirs in 6 years. It's embarrassing.

In general, the young and the restless has been pretty good with cast photos compared to other soaps. AMC's last professional cast photo was done in 2002 (and photo shopped with multiple cast changes). GH, I think the last time was in 2003 for the 40th Anniversary.
