Music That Soap Characters Listen To...?

Let's say that you accidentally stumbled upon a soap character's playlist (or CD/LP/cassette collection for those who don't own MP3 devices) - what kind of music do you think that you'd find there (based on what you know about them)?

I'll start with Hope Logan from B&B - based on her fairy-tale ideas of love and sexuality, I wouldn't be surprised to find this

on her iPod....

On the flip side, I wouldn't be surprised to find this song deep in Liz Webber of GH's playlist:

Kate Howard/Connie F.- Foreigner-Double Vision.

OK, I had to look up the lyrics to that song and well, that might as well be Connie's theme song:

Never do more than I, I really need

My mind is racing, but my body's in the lead

Tonight's the night, I'm gonna push it to the limit

I live all of my years in a single minute

I [[email protected]#$%^&*] love that song. AHHHH

I was a bigger fan of the album songs on that album, but that song does take me back...

I realize I may be spoiling the fun by including examples of a character listening to music on the show, but here they are:

INXS--Suicide Blonde:

REM--Losing My Religion:

Guns N' Roses--Live and Let Die:

In other words, her taste is awesome cool.png .

I think that the Grand Diva Erica Kane of AMC would certainly find this song to be an anthem of hers to listen to:

Speaking of Erica and Shirleys, during the Dr. Kinder era, Erica came home to Linden House and put on Shirley Horn's "Here's to Life".

Erica Kane has her own song remember?

B5's Erica Kane

Aaliyah had a song called "Erica Kane" too.
