For me, there is no more iconic an image from Soap Opera Weekly than this:

In those days, nobody did it better.

I don't know of anybody who's worn more wedding dresses than Susan Lucci. Consider Erica's 11 marriages, plus the weddings that never happend to Mike Roy, Jermey Hunter and the third one to Dimitri (when she lost her unborn baby). and the first to Jackson (that Greenly stopped). and she wore a brides dress when she did a fashion show and Jackson proposed to her. Then you consider Susan's own wedding and i think she's been a bride in at least two movies. that's almost 20 different wedding dresses. I don't know maybe Barbie is the only one i know who's worn as many or more wedding dresses....and she's a doll.

and if she is in this new TV show by March Cheery, i bet she'll "slip" into one or two more.

I always liked Opal in those shades.

Kate Collins was the peak of her glamour a this time as Natalie. Man, she is just so grogeous here. Her look was so timeless, I wish we still had some of that debutant look in the current daytime field. Someone like Monica on GH or even Elizabeth should adopt a similar style.

Scott Thompson Baker was trying too hard... the norm.
