Like A Prayer is used in the trailer, but also in an important sequence in the movie itself (which she gave music notes on). Ryan Reynolds has been telling a story during this entire press promotion of the movie about how he had to go to Madonna’s house and ask for permission to use the song, and how it was like asking royalty for something. Madonna doesn’t usually license her music to outside parties, so it was a rare thing that she said yes (particularly a song like Like A Prayer).
