I would not pay to see her today. 1980s or 1990s Madonna? Sure. Confessions Madonna? Maybe. But Madonna of today? Hell no. She is a shell of her former self... she is no longer a leader but a follower, and her habit of being 2+ hours late is unacceptable. I am sincerely hoping this is her farewell for touring, and possibly music altogether, because this just is not it. The set list has some highlights but, overall, it is a FAILURE. Especially relying on those shïtty remixes no one wants to hear.

For comparison: when I went to see P!nk in August, the show was a bit delayed, due to technical difficulties during Pat Benatar's set. As a result, P!nk came out a bit late and did cut two songs, but the show ran smoothly and was out at its expected time. THAT is how a professional is.

You are 100 percent right. I was A HUGE Madonna fan back in the day and paid to see her 2 months ago, which I still regret. It was an awful experience and she was MADLY late, people were pissed off while watching the show. It was hard not to laugh while she was barely walking in some parts of the show and then the positive reviews blew me away. She has 10 percent energy left and feels like she is doing it just to prove she can still walk on stage. But that is not the Madonna I want to remember. Also the sex and scandal part of the show is way too much and too cringey for words. I think I heard her moan more times than I've heard moaning in real life. It felt like Baby Jane was alive with Bette Davis on the stage at some parts... I wouldn't be so mad if she was not late though... She came after 10, when we should should have came after 8-30. Some people were so bored, they were eating sausages.

P.S - Just couple of months ago, me and my husband went to see Mylene Farmer - a huge French star, which some say is the French Madonna. She is the same age... and is doing similar type of pop music... Let me say... Mylene Farmer was like a Goddess compared to what we saw from Madonna. That woman aged like fine wine and knew what was right to show and do on stage when she is 65. She came 20 minutes late, and not two hours late. And gave a pristine show. Sang live amazingly.

    • Watching this longer clip I truly am impressed with the effects but also the direction - the moments of fear in the ballroom before the blast are wonderful. What I appreciate most here is the lack of a montage and the lack of aggressive editing.  This all looks better than quite a bit you could find elsewhere at the time, let alone now. Julia should have avoided weddings.
    • I hope somewhere in the fictional universe, Sami called Vivian to tell her about John. They just shared an Uber to the airport, so I assume they have each other's contact info (no matter the universe, they both probably only have 3

).  And, Vivian always treated John like a nephew.
    • That final scene of Marlena playing John’s voicemail over and over again really got to me

    • -- Tamara Tunie was good today, but can we hold back on handing out Emmys? I'm not seeing that yet. -- So Anita has Barbara's entire letter committed to memory, yet it took her DECADES to reach out to Tracy and Sharon? Uh....ok. I don't get the impression that THE DUPREES spent a lot of time thinking about the little people. -- We again heard "Articulettes Strong," this time in the letter. Make it stop already. -- I'll wait and see on this "Anita's Sin" story. My bottom line is that it's unfair to point blame when someone takes his/her own life. -- I thought Tomas looked fine af in that suit today, and that the fit was perfect. -- Why is Basic Ashley kissing her boyfriend while at work in the hospital? I find that inappropriate and ridiculous. Ashley still doesn't act like someone in love. -- The 3-way conversation among Ashley, Derek, and Andre was awkward as hell. -- Hayley was embarrassing for taking her pregnancy test to Dani's. Dani is embarrassing to harp on it. These two need to stay away from each other. -- Dani treats Andre like crap. What he sees in her beyond the physical, I have no idea. No way is either of these two in love. -- Also clueless? Bill and Hayley for thinking Naomi would love hearing about the pregnancy.
    • Susan Lucci was on bereavement vacation because her on screen mom had recently passed away so she was off canvas when this tornado occurred.
    • Thanks @YRfan23 Wow I didn’t realize the cast has gotten that tiny either which is absolutely pitiful.    Surprised that Budig is still on as Taylor barely watched any lol tbh but nonr of the recent daily recaps ever mention her anymore I figured she was out the door soon.
    • I love the yellow bumpers with the crew lol. That's Donna Lewis as the music at the beginning! I haven't heard her in ages. R.J. and Tea were so hot and so underrated. I remember seeing the bit with the Buchanan men promising to show Max a good time in his bedroom and it's still hysterical.
    • I think a lot would've gotten over it the same way they got over the Trina recast, especially since it became swiftly clear NAC is never coming back. The key issue, we agree, is Frank. As long as Trina is onscreen he's not touching that. As for Nikolas, honestly I'd kill him off. Adam Huss has done a wonderful job in a very difficult situation but I don't think he has leading man power for a soap opera (not because he's gay, but he's very intense and I don't think it translates to potential lighter or romantic material; his flirting with Ava briefly was strange) and I was holding out for Tyler to recover and return someday. I am not interested in Nikolas #5 or 6.
    • AlwaysAMC - Your posts are a crack up; they make me laugh.  Thanks.  I especially like how detailed you get enthused about something, and how you curtly and flippantly you reject that which you find subpar.  LOL.   What's great about Annie is her increasing rooting value as time goes on.   I often wanted Annie to be victorious.  Watros infuses her with an energy and a vulnerability that really works, even at times when neither should. Soap viewers often remember and talk about the Big Moments, which is fine, but what I also find really interesting is the 1-2 week time frame that follows the Big Moment.  Later, there are scenes between Annie and Rick involving a trip to the hospital (no way am I telling you why and what happens - hopefully no one does) that I think are as well done as the Big Moment.  Astonishing stuff. Oh..and to reiterate...I ain't telling you sh*t.  You'll just have to suffer!  Ain't anticipation grand?  LOL.
