Members DRW50
I don't know Pixie! (and I'm kind of glad). That would make sense, if it was forced on them. I actually think the cover layout looks better now than in recent years but I can't take that cursive which always reminds me of someone trying to appeal to a 10 year old girl from sometime in 1950.
Members chicklitsandfantasies
But if it's one of those cheap indie films they are kind of easier to come by. The real challenge is getting a good distributor to at least get it on TV.

Members chicklitsandfantasies
Go Sherri! http://rdsn.net/buzz/2012/11/28/former-daytime-star-sherri-saum-books-stint-on-abcs-revenge/ Former “Sunset Beach” and “One Life to Live” star, Sherri Saum, took to Twitter and announced that she has booked a spot on the hit ABC series, “Revenge.” “Oooh – just booked a juicy role on #Revenge on ABC. Hope I get some. Revenge that is.” Who could she play in the Hamptons? Could it be possible that maybe her character could have ties to Ashley Davenport (Ashley Madekwe)? Only time will tell.. Saum also has landed a lead role in the ABC Family pilot, “The Fosters,” from Jennifer Lopez. Saum plays the role of Lena, and the show revolves around a lesbian interracial couple who are raising adoptive and biological children.

Members frequentsoapfan
It seems like alot of the black women wasted on soaps in recent years book more roles than their counterparts.
Members SFK
It's an interesting dynamic. There are fewer roles for black women than for white women in both daytime and primetime, yet primetime offers more opportunities for recurring roles and guest spots. When looking to cast a black female, there is a smaller, more focused pool of black actresses that will probably get seen.
