Michael Muhney posted a pic of Griffith's first script on Twitter yesterday.

Looks like Sheffer either remains Co-HW, or was demoted to a standard AHW (for now or until his contract is up in November). Noel Maxam is directing Griffith's first episode, Janice Ferri Esser is the SW, and Paula Cwikly is the breakdown writer.

Looks like Brent Boyd replaced Marla Kanelos, as a standard AHW.

As we've not heard anything about Josh having a Co-HW, I'm going to assume Sheffer was demoted to an AHW position, Natalie Minardi Slater keeps her position as the other AHW, and Brent Boyd was given the Script Editor position.

I assume Milstein was fired outright.

And Jill hasn't brought Mary O'Leary over, at least not yet...

Wow, that's pretty surprising that a newcomer to daytime was given the script editor position, if Boyd is indeed the SE. Maybe Paula was promoted to AHW and Janice was given the script editor position? That would make more sense since Janice knows the history of the show and edited the show before.

I never understood how some fans always rooted for Natalie vs. Jess, because they felt that Viki favored Jess. Natalie pulled some nasty stunts in her day, and Viki did raise Jess and had a stronger connection and history with her, which of course sucked for Natalie, but it was what it was.

Erica and Dorian could do no wrong in my book.

I looked Brent Boyd up and noticed he tweeted last Monday a promise that Y&R would get better in response to a viewer's tweet that "Hope Burns Eternal." I don't know what better means to him but he did say that this week's episodes of Hollywood Heights are really good and I haven't seen what's really good so far. He says Thursday is his favorite episode of all 80 so I will have to wait and see tomorrow whether his favorite is any good.

    • Correction, Chicago Hope 1994/95 was initially Thursday 9 pm, a CBS dead zone and head-to-head w/ Seinfeld. 1994/95 CBS Thursday 10 pm initially was Eye to Eye with Connie Chung. Later in the season CBS did a scheduling shift with Chicago Hope moving to Monday 10 pm, Eye to Eye with Connie Chung moving to Thursday 9 pm, and 48 Hours moving from Wednesday 10 pm to Thursday 10 pm.

    • A--I wish someone would post a better vid of the entire ball, as it must be out there. And B--nope. Evie is only in a small segment of the ball with Phillip, Rick and Mindy. She doesn't dance at all. Ross dances with Helena and Amanda. I'm not even sure why Evie is at the ball---Vanessa heartily disliked her. I did see that Billy actually asked Henry to introduce him to Vanessa, which I hadn't realized.
    • Honestly, they should've ordered more of 2000 Malibu Road for the 1992-93 midseason and aired it when Knots went on a break. That was probably their best shot.    Then of course they fumbled Central Park West by airing it in the 9PM slot instead of a 10PM slot where it would've been away from the Fox dramas. CPW got its best rating by airing randomly on a Sunday and when it was taken off the air for a "re-tooling", Party of Five's ratings actually had a spike, so clearly they were feeding off each other. But being a smaller network focused on a certain demographic, Fox could afford to be patient Party of Five, CBS couldn't...
    • Agree on Bruce Gray as Owen; they needed to cast star power. He was too lightweight against Kim and he had no chemistry with Frances Fischer except more gay buddy or daddy figure.  I loved Nola and Eliot together though. Lee Godart should have been longer term.
    • Andre has the worst fashion of the males which is off putting for someone as fine as he is. His jackets and sweaters look dated and no vintage does not work for him
    • I don’t recall MSW having a toy line in the late 80’s or early 90’s like all those Saturday morning cartoons did LOL but thought this was cute when I saw it in a vintage toy store yesterday:

    • Copying and pasting pasting this here as to not to derail the KL thread lol Wow I forgot CBS actually did try multiple attempts to come up with a soapy replacement for Knots on Thursday nights in the 10/9 slots for the 93-94 season.   Angel Falls had promise but CBS didn’t give it a fair chance. Latham’s Second Chances got even worse ratings than Angel Falls and wasn’t given a second chance when the Northridge quake destroyed the show’s sets. One West Waikiki looked gorgeous but was a blink you missed it affair. Finally we got Hotel Malibu, a quasi follow-up to Second Chances that stayed as the summer replacement series it was. CBS switched gears and had Chicago Hope air in the slot…against ER. It made the Top 30 but obviously underperformed below expectations. CBS gave up, and gave us 48 Hours for years there. It wasn’t until the 2002-03 season when CBS finally produced a Top 20 show for that spot with Without A Trace against an aging ER.
