Come on, you also didnt think AE would return to OLTL and look what we got. Genie back could happen. I think whether she remains on contract over at Y&R or not will play the biggest factor but if they drop her in time, I definetly could see her making a return stop

I thought Andrea wouldn't return because of Frons. Genie's reasons for not returning are based on her years of complaining about the writing (which is not likely to change - I doubt RC or FV care any more about respect for women than they did at OLTL) and her bitterness over the way ABC treated her over the years.

I guess she could come back but at this point, given that she hates a lot of what GH became, and Tony Geary despises Luke/Laura and their relationship, I'm not sure why she'd be back.

She wouldnt be coming back long term. The assumption is the show is being cancelled so this would be a chance to bring some closure to her character and her fans by allowing them to see Laura one last time.

She said she'd come back if they did certain things. I'm not sure if that would mean permanent or just a visit. If she returns to be written as some nostalgic failure of Luke's, even for a visit, I don't know if she'd go back.

Genie tends to flip back and forth so I can't take anything she says seriously. I feel when I heard the interview it was more about placating fans but in the end I am sure if she could she;d return at the end to give fans to have a chance to say goodbye to Laura
