I will say that it looks like RC or somebody is really trying to make amends for Andrea's last return as Tina, which was a mess from start to finish. She's become one of the people I tune into see and I'm disappointed when she isn't on. I definitely want more interactions with the Lord kids.

True. But then, some idiots would decide that they had to be married; and next thing you know, because Shaun and the missus have no story, they'd give 'em story by having her sleep with his best friend from high school in order to give Shaun the baby he says he wants but cannot have (or so she mistakenly thinks), thereby ruining her and their relationship forever.

I think we were supposed to believe Ford did that because he loved Tess. Brody is just being mean and nasty.
