ROFL laugh.png Eva probably threatened to sue them for years if they embarrassed her with the footage so this is their way of saying "Yay she finally let us use it" ahahahahaha

Either that or previous regimes knew the story and the character weren't enough to base a flashback episode on and it's not like Eva Longoria is a superstar. It would be like Bill Bell having a Special Tom Selleck Flashback Episode.

I'm not a fan of the "she's coming back! Haha, j/k but here are some flashbacks" bait-and-switch, but I did enjoy the flashbacks and the episode itself. Nice to see Y&R back when it was a class act. Though they ignored Paul's rape of Christine. Like when he introduced her to Ricky and was all "Now we're divorced," all I could think was because you raped her, dude!

I really hope people did not believe Eva was coming back even for a cameo. That's just cruel and wrong.
