SOAP WORLD by Robert LaGuardia has some very early story descriptions. This is a copy in the Internet Archive that is borrowable, like a library book, for free. If you don't have an acct there, you'll need to register for a free one. Then just log in, click BORROW & begin to read.
One caveat: It's been years since I looked at any of LaGuardia's books. No idea if they contain errors.
There's also quite a lot about Gloria Monty "saving the show". That, of course, is later, 1978 & following, but I mention it in case you're interested.
Hope this helps!
That would have been a great idea. Naomi and Jacob's bedroom and Derek and Ashley's studio should be a one bedroom set that could be redressed. Ashley's apartment could be an open concept kitchen and living room like Dani's. I know times are tough, but a nurse and fireman can afford a one bedroom. Naomi and Jacob's bedroom
Oh I forgot about this! I actually don’t understand why they don’t have Jacob and Naomi be neighbours to Ashley in the same building and just redress the same apartment set two different ways. The more I deep it, so many of the set choices just don’t make sense.

Not really new information, but further articulates that Days is the most successful Peacock show in terms of viewing. Peacock obviously has a lot of problems, as it has yet to turn a profit for NBCU and while still growing it's subscription base, it's happening slower than other platforms. Honestly, if Peacock were to dump Days at this point (not that I think it will), I could see it moving to another streaming or broadcast service pretty easily.
