I think the Dennisons just seemed out of place and ill-defined. It took years for Tricia to work (IMO) and I don't think Keith ever worked. Megan worked with Nick Scotti but that was it.

Actually wasn't Josh Griffith responsible for a lot of what went down the first half of 2008 which lead to MAB screaming he was abusing his power to rewrite stories and scenes leading to Griffith's firing? Or so the story goes, cause then after Griffith left we had that nice little upswing aka honeymoon period aka fool's gold for MAB&Co. (July 2008-May 2009)

Actually Maria's honeymoon period was when she first began (around Christmas) up until around Sabrina died.

The soap press hype seemed to go on up to mid-2009. I think it was the Colleen death fiasco that may have been the last straw for the Auntie Ri Ri fans. Either that or all that hype over Adam/Rafe ending in tie-fixing cutaways.

But she was going to make sure gays were written just like ordinary people.

Considering that the "star" of her much hyped gay stories became popular after terrorizing and destroying the lives of women, I guess that is ordinary by her standards.

I'm somewhat surprised Esther is still around - on contract, no less.

Gina basically disappeared during Smith's run (with dayplayer appearances under Latham & Maria).as did Esther (despite Kate remaining on contract).
