Y&R: Devon/Yolanda spoilers from TV Guide

There are limited roles for TBSL. I'm just glad Malcolm is going as this Malcolm reminds me of Ike Turner and I don't want to see Debbi with that mess.

The idea of a middle-aged woman changing her name to "Harmony" is bizarre. Between this, the Sharon trash, and the bizarre Taboo-style writing for Devon and Tyra I still wonder what porn some Y&R writers have been watching.

Yes, I know Yolanda and Diane are two vastly different cogs in the Y&R universe, but this is the best role they could come up with for Debbi freakin' Morgan? Good Lord.

After Nichols, Francis, West & Rogers nobody should be surprised.

Only with a talentless crew like Bell/Sheffer/Hammer.

Devon needs a mother? Tucker needs a son? Please...Morgan would be 30 times more interesting as Leslie Michaelson's mother than Devon's.

In fact, if they had to give Tucker a child, Leslie would be a better choice than Devon, period.

I feel like they only hired a black actress to feign diversity, and as soon as they could find a white actress, they did. It's sad to think the only chance she might have had was if she took her turn to be degraded by Adam.

They hire people based on their name and then they throw them into a story assuming the name will compensate for not having a story. It's really embarrassing just how pointless and difficult to watch Tucker is even after almost two years and in spite of Stephen Nichols being a casting coup. And now, in a story no one cares about, that is going nowhere, they throw in another name to try to hide that it's being made up as it goes along.

Well, I saw nothing in Nichols that could be termed a "coup", but that's neither here nor there. It's like MAB and crew can only think of adoption vs. real parentage stories, and delude themselves into thinking it's somehow original that almost every story seems to turn on it.

Hell, even being Sophia's mother would be better than being shackled to both Devon and Tucker.

It doesn't matter who she's related to (though her being Leslie's Mom would've been awesome) cause she's only there for three reasons.

1. Stunt casting to boost horrible ratings

2. Another desperate attempt at "diversity"

3. To cause brief problems for Tucker/Ashley

After her six months at Y&R are up she'll be back recurring on AMC.

Oh this is dumb.

Poor Debbi Morgan. Seriously.

And Stephen Nichols is very much wasted on Y&R. PLEASE let him go Y&R so he can return to Days!
