OLTL: Cutter and Aubrey

From ABC Soaps in Depth:

According to them, Aubrey is going to have a connection to the Gigi storyline (maybe going down the Aubrey=Stacy route, while Gigi is the one in the bed?). For Cutter, when Tina gets back, she is going to have a flashback to having given birth to twins before going over the Argentinian waterfall.

Why are they giving Tina and Cord another child when they probably won't be around long, and Cookie Cutter is probably not going to be on PP? Are they that in need of trying to make one of their pets important to the show? Didn't they learn anything from the incredible thud with which the "stories" of Rex and David as Buchanans landed? It doesn't matter if a character has some tie to major characters if the character is pointless and has anti-chemistry with everyone around him. Can't they just say Cutter is related to some dead-eyed NAIR salesman?

So Tina and Irene both had twins.

And I guess forgetting having twins runs in the Lord bloodline. I guess Viki can tell her she relates.

If Jessica Tuck could return for a good run (leaving and then making occasional guest appearances) I would love to know that Megan had an identical twin (or close anyway).

Wouldn't it have been easier just to "out" Cutter as C.J.?

I swear sometimes people can't read carefully. The article is about writers predictions for the fall and one was about Tina/Cutter.

Ohhhh. Thank you for the clarification. I read the original post and assumed that was an actual preview.

Even if it was true, then how is Tina supposed to know what a child looked like that she gave up at birth?

Well that's a relief. I wish I did not have to keep wondering if these bottom feeders are related to some of my favorite characters. Just say Cutter is Edwina's son and be done with it.

Why does he haved to be anyones son? I love the character of Cutter and it's probably because of Josh Kelly

I don't know, it seems to be some fetish at OLTL now. And there's always this demand that someone be tied to a core character - any time a new character fails it's said oh well they would have been great if they'd been CJ or whoever. Goodness knows OLTL superstars Drew and Duke Buchanan benefited from their core family ties.

I think the fact that people like Cutter after all he's done says a lot of the character and actor
